  • Wrote something like 90+ fics/things
  • Finally figured out (mostly) my gender
  • Got a great therapist online
  • Took part in, like, 3 online fanzines

Gosh, if I had time and energy !!!

I could do all the things!

In fact, if I had endless time and energy together, I could even:
  • Take all my online Masterclasses
  • Write my novel
  • Consistently do my daily tarot readings
  • Actually do a Real NaNo
  • Learn to cook!
  • Read all the books
  • Finally finish a Pokemon game!
  • Learn to draw
  • Clean/reorganize my room!
  • Watch TV again!!!
Ah, yes, what a good time that would be.

What to wish for...

That's always a hard one for me, because most of the time when I want something done in fandom, I'll do it.

But!  I do have a few thoughts!
  • I would love to team up with someone on like a webcomic or something.  I can't draw to save my life, but I have terrible puns that need art and I would love to collaborate with someone on them.
  • I'd really like to do a shared writing project with someone, but I never know what about.  Still, I think it'd be fun.
  • I'd like to have a... less a beta reader, more of a brainstormer (alpha reader?  idk the terms we use, man) for fic.  Like, someone to encourage me to write and actually keep me accountable and on track.
That's all I can think of right now, but I think that's enough, lol.

You know, I used to never really "get" fusions/crossovers.  I think it's part of my "The food must never touch!!" brain that I've been working really hard to accept and change lately, but for the longest time I never could.  Then I signed up for a Fusion/Crossover Exchange and that did it.

I think the biggest thing is that I never really had heard of "fusions" before.  Sure, I'd loved AUs and playing with characters in different settings, but to me, crossovers were "Characters from X and Characters from Y meet" and that never worked for me.  But when I discovered fusions, that changed things.  Because I've always done fusions in my head for years.

Put Batman characters into the plot of The Thing From Another World?  Absolutely.
The Yu-Gi-Oh characters trapped in space watching bad movies?  Sign me the fuck up.
Sherlock Holmes and Co. with Pokemon partners?  Hell yeah!

Somehow, though, that had never clicked in my brain as A Thing I Could Do in fandom.

Now, like, I'm so down for these, y'all don't even know.

Hello, y'all!  I definitely have some goals for this year, and most of them involve taking things easier/doing old things I loved doing before.

Writing!
  • 75,000 words this year.  That's it.  Anything above that is gravy.
  • Only SELECT exchanges!  And this time, I mean it.
  • Work on original stuff.
Reading!
  • 52 books at least.  I easily beat that last year, but I want to read fiction again this year that's not kids' books (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I mean, I think I read 0 novels last year, oh my).
  • Read owned books.  I have so many, y'all.  Too many.
  • Limit library use (only because I overdid it this last year).
'Rithmatic Everything Else!
  • Play more video games.
  • Spend less money on things I don't need.
  • Pay down debts.
  • Enjoy life.
