fleetsparrowI keep looking at this one going, “I don’t know what tropes I even do like!” because I pretty much only read mysteries, but write romance.
So, let’s see.
To write, and I guess to read, I love established, equal relationships, whether they’re good or bad. Like, BatCat is my go-to pairing, because they both come to it as equals and independents. In that vein, my favorite incarnation of Harley/Joker is when they’re equally smitten with each other AND equally trying to kill each other; tip it one way, and it goes south quickly.
I also really love the super caring stoic and the more physical affection-giving partner. It just gives me life.
